This time Microsoft has launched the security patch for all the previous versions of the Windows platform to protect the desktop system against the WannaCry but the fact is that Microsoft has already ended to support the Windows XP in 2014.
However, Microsoft has made the brilliant move in technology to protect the system as they have launched the security update for an even outdated operating system that has launched nearly 16 years ago as part of its Patch round of security updates.
Actually, Microsoft has revealed the security patch for an outdated operating system to protect the people from getting a risk of WannaCry or other malware ever in their life!
The fact is that WannaCry is seriously a dangerous malware attack that hacks more than 75,000 systems in the world where 40 organizations of NHS hospitals were also affected by this attack leaving the sign of worry for the Microsoft.
The ransomware locked the system files and made it unavailable for the people and users while demanding $300 to get access to the files again.
The Microsoft added that WannaCry is the serious cyber-attack ever occurred in the world leaving millions of people to worry in the world while we are launching the update to our outdated operating system to reduce this kind of risk again and updates are available to all the users even those who are using the older version Windows.
The developers of the advanced technology firm added that outdated version of the Windows doesn’t mean we stop our standard servicing policies to the users, the security experts of our firm analyzed the vulnerabilities in the previous version and make a decision to make an update available to the people.
The people who are still using the Windows XP and other Microsoft operating system are able to download the latest security updates and install in their system to remain protected from any kind of the latest security threats including WannaCry.
The team added that the people whose computers are affected with the malware shouldn’t install the latest security patch available by the Microsoft but still not clear whether the latest patch of Windows XP is able to protect against new attacks.
