Yahoo has identified the world largest hacking breach in which one billion accounts of the users are hacked dated back in 2013 and breaking the record of company’s own record for the biggest security breach in the history.
The US Company announced the attack on Wednesday and added that the account of one billion users was hacked in past August 2013, one of the biggest cyber-attack in the history of the world and double the number affected by the breach of September 2014.
The yahoo firm said that the latest news of the hacking attack is different from the breach exist in the September 2014 – the attack of 2014 has breached the account of at least 500 million users and it was known as world largest breaching attack but the information of 1 billion hacking account is now becoming the world largest cyber-attack to any site.
Yahoo believes that the attack occurred in 2013 was done by some unauthorized third party that stole data from one billion user accounts and also pharmacy-no-rx.net/propecia_generic.html added that the stolen information may include the date of birth, name, email addresses, telephone numbers, and passwords but they didn’t steal the information of bank account this information is saved but the fact is that the figure of one billion shows that people are affected from worldwide in this attack.
Yahoo also claims that the hackers stole the encrypted or security answers of some users but the information of the bank accounts of the users remain safe from the criminals and it also saying that they are doing their best practice to notifying the customers that are affected by the breach and to take the steps to secure their account.
Yahoo also taking steps to enhance its security system and also hiring the outsiders to discovered the issue of the firm and researcher Jouko discovered the flaw and received the bounty of $10,000 for discovering the error and yahoo are investigating the forged cookies that allow the criminals to access someone else email account.
