Facebook has taken the serious steps to tackle the extreme content from the social media platform to counter the hate speech.
Facebook is funding the local organizations and education charity towards tackling the hate speech uploaded on the social platform and wants to remove the hate speech from the internet.
The company starts working on the mission of educating the organizations on Friday, which they include the training session for the organization and charities about how to monitor these kinds of activities and what to respond.
The firm will launch the Online Civil Courage Initiative in the UK where Facebook concerns were controlled as the online criticism are on peak and all the tech giants Facebook, Google, Twitter and other companies are working to remove the extremist material from online.

Facebook always seems slow to respond towards the terrorist propaganda as a chief operating system of firm added that ‘The recent terror attack on London and Manchester are really heartbreaking and no-one wants to live in fear of terrorism’.

The experts of Facebook added that ‘The online extremist content has no space on the internet and we have to do many things to remove this kind of content from the platform’.

- Online Civil Courage Initiative UK
The Facebook added that some of the partners are encouraging our platform to remove the content and we are working on their demand but many of them want to remove the hate speech.
This time Facebook is introducing the Civil Courage Initiative to support NGOs and community organizations to train them as they work across the UK and tackle the extreme content as the hate speeches against violence are part of the extreme content.
Facebook not only provide the training session to the organizations but support them to promote campaigns against the extreme content and financial support for academic research.
- Increase Pressure:
The government is pressuring the tech giants including Facebook, Twitter, and Google to tackle the online extreme content to provide the comfortable platform for the users as these platforms are the large source used to spread extreme propaganda.
In April, Germany passed a bill where the social platform will fine if they are unable to provide the block or report option to the users towards the hate speech and fake news and if they refused to remove the illegal content from their platform.
The experts added that ‘Steps from Facebook will help the tech giants to remove the extreme content from the platform and anything that helps against the extreme content is welcome by everyone.
